The Grimsby Fish Company was established around 1946 when Grimsby was enjoying it's success as the biggest fishing port in the UK.

Until recently, the company concentrated on retail customers only.

In January 2012 we decided to expand and open a shop here on Grimsby Docks serving the wholesale trade. We proceeded to expand our supplier base and can now source fresh and frozen fish from around the world.

Responsible sourcing of species is what its about now, here at The Grimsby Fish Company, we are commited to this. We are currently stocking several types of "freedom food accredited" species and when more become available, when the quality of the product is to a good standard, we will use it.
