 The Grimsby Fish Company was established around 1946 when Grimsby was enjoying it's success as the biggest and best fishing port in the UK.

The business ethos then, was exactly the same as today:

 Select the freshest fish available 

Prepare the product for the customer 

Transport it to the customer quickly  

 Simple really, a formula that works.

Grimsby is still the biggest and best fish market in the UK, however things have changed a lot since those days.

Responsible sourcing of species is what its about now, and here at The Grimsby Fish Company, we are commited to this. We are currently stocking several types of "freedom food accredited" species and when more become available, when the quality of the product is to a good standard, we will use it.
